Gold on Binomo — Stake, Expiry and Settlement
What a gold contract does to a balance: when the stake leaves, when the result lands, what the payout percentage applies to, and why there is no overnight cost.
Open a Binomo demo →A gold contract on Binomo is a fixed stake with a clock on it. The stake leaves the balance when the contract opens; at the expiry you chose, from one minute upward, a correct call returns it with the advertised payout added and a wrong call forfeits it in full. There is no leverage and no overnight swap because no position is held: the whole cost is the stake, and the whole timing is the expiry.
The money side of a gold contract
- Gold (XAU/USD) is one of dozens of assets available as a fixed-time contract on Binomo
- The stake leaves the balance when the contract opens and is settled at the expiry you chose, from 1 minute upward
- A correct call returns the stake with the payout added - advertised up to ~85% on Standard and ~86-90% on Gold and VIP
- A wrong call forfeits 100% of the stake at expiry; there is nothing to hold and nothing to recover
- There is no leverage and no overnight swap, so nothing accrues while the contract runs - no position is held
- The minimum stake starts around $1 and a real balance starts at the $10 minimum deposit
Where the money is at each moment
| Moment | Your stake | Cost attached |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | Leaves the balance | None beyond the stake |
| While the contract runs | Committed until expiry | No swap, no financing |
| Expiry, correct call | Returns with the payout added | None |
| Expiry, wrong call | Forfeited in full | The stake itself |
| Afterwards | Sits on the balance as ordinary funds | A payout request, from $10 |
No position, no carrying cost
Holding gold usually costs something - financing, a swap, storage. A fixed-time contract has none of those, and the reason is structural rather than generous: no gold is held and no position is carried. The contract is a stake and an expiry, and it ends by itself.
That removes a whole category of running cost and replaces it with a single one. The stake is the entire exposure, committed at the start, and the result is known at a time chosen in advance.
Volatility changes the odds, not the arithmetic
Gold can move sharply around economic news, and a short expiry sits inside that movement. What does not change is the money: the stake was fixed when the contract opened, and the payout percentage applies to that same figure however far the price travelled.
So a violent session does not make a win bigger or a loss smaller. It changes how likely each outcome is, which is exactly the part no percentage can be attached to. What is moving the market today is context, not a schedule.
After settlement it is just balance
A settled gold contract leaves ordinary funds on the balance, indistinguishable from a deposit. Getting them off the platform is the route every other payout takes: a request of at least $10, back to the method that funded the account, inside the processing window for your tier.
It is worth rehearsing the sequence on the virtual balance first. The mechanics are identical, and the demo skips only the part where money actually moves.
One gold contract, from balance to balance
- Check the balance holds the stake in credited funds before opening.
- Choose the expiry - contracts run from one minute upward, and it fixes when the result is known.
- Open the contract: the stake leaves the balance and is committed until expiry.
- At expiry the result is applied - the stake returns with the payout added, or it is forfeited in full.
- To take a credited result off the platform, request at least $10 and allow the processing window for your tier.
A wrong call forfeits the whole stake, and gold can move sharply on economic news. Fixed-time trading carries a high risk of losing money.
